    I thought Devante would have a better career. He was good on the ball but needed to toughen up a lot. He was pretty much useless in the air or with his back to goal & I expected him to have worked on them aspects of his game & for him to have done better. Maybe it’s clicked in Scotland

    I suppose 11 in 27 isn't bad when you're playing for Motherwell. Buying a 26 year old isn't usually our thing though.
    Perhaps he's going to Oostende and PMG are using Oakwell as a meeting room.

    Andy works as a mobile florist these days. Every Thursday he drops off a bouquet of roses at the door of the old West Stand away changing room, as a homage to the meltdown Sir Alex had when we played them in the FA Cup. He then does a lap of the pitch, and hops back in his electric Nissan van, and pops along to Hillsborough to lay flowers at their gate, commemorating the death of a once 'massive' football club.
