another one we're gonna struggle to hold on to.

Swansea, Burnley and Derby linked with him this morning.

Just the way it is. He has a year left, so unless we get a good fee, we've got him for 12 months more.

For however much its unsettling, I still prefer it to buying people like Kennedy and Wiseman and having to pay them to get rid!

Just depends if he is willing to sign another contract this year.
If not he'd be sold this summer.
Barnsley cannot afford to be giving players away.

We need money generated by transfers to be ploughed back into the squad - to sign lower league players that Barnsley can negotiate a more flexible contract with.

Which will allow Barnsley in Heckys words..... to sell the right player - at the right time - for the right price.

I don't think we'll sell anyone of importance this summer.

It's surely why we've employed a CEO who does not speak English?

Correct, with today's football English is nowhere near the first language

    Yer probably right.
Obviously the club has to weigh up how much disruption the 1st team can take.
Question is - how many other players can the club lose before relegation becomes a real and much bigger risk?

So the club has probably got to accept that by keeping the likes of Yiadom and Roberts - there is a better chance of staying in the Championship - but by keeping them they know they will lose out on £££millions when these players walk out of the door this time next year.

Unless of course the club sells them for a give away price come January.
Which will produce another detrimental impact to the 1st team.

It's bad - and very disheartening for the fans right now.

Hecky has said he expects bids to come in for players in the summer. A decent bid for him or robbo and we all know they will be gone. We will have to wait and see.

I'd be more bothered if we lost hecky if we get good offers on for robbo or andy yiadom that we can't turn down let them go they only have 12 months left so now is the time to sell. Give hecky the fees to recruit look at the cream of league one and two and carry on.

We won't give Hecky the fees though will we. Like he's gonna have the £5 mill for Roberts in the next ten transfer windows, never mind this summer.

That's what the phone said yes. More spelling mistakes than ever on this with it's shitty autocorrect.

But foggy in January is probably as accurate

True we have had the best part of 18million in the past 2 windows not saying go out and blow the lot on a a couple of players but we could use it to bring some top player in from leagues 1 and 2. I can understand pc taking back the money he has lent the club but we still should have a big wedge. If we do carry on selling and failing to replace adequately then the inevitable will happen. Huddersfield sold 3 of their top players 2 season's back they bought the big german defender for over 1million a few other signings some good loans in and the rest is history.

If Hecky goes I think we are foooked big style.
He's the only person holding things together at the club right now.
