    Perhaps as he is out for so long Hull are already claiming on his insurance policy. So it could be the insurers trying to avoid paying.

    A friend with Critical Illness Cover diagnosed with bowel cancer had his claim rejected by the Insurance Company because he hadn't disclosed on the initial medical form that he had had tests following Irritable Bowel problems some years previously.
    He hadn't done this deliberately - just thought earlier tests were not relevant.
    So there will be a lot of checking on the information Angus will have given the medics at Torquay-Barnsley-Hull -- if something not disclosed by him (even if not deliberately hidden) there may be problems.

    For anyone thinking of taking Critical Illness Cover - it's a good idea to pass on all medical records to the relevant insurers at the initial stage so there hopefully will be no problems ahead.
