Anniversary of Boycott's 100 100th ... video of it on YCCC FB page - look at his appalling technique - bat on the ground , hunched over :)

Did it take him three days to get it, during the course of which he ran out six of his team mates?

:) I'd love to see his stats for running out his team mates.

One of the well known TV impressionists in the 80's, it could have been Rory Bremner, did an hysterical spoof Boycott interview, in which "Geoffrey" was asked why he kept running his teammates out, and he replied that they weren't doing their jobs properly, as although they were scoring, they weren't "quality runs". Very funny.

Best thing about those videos? Watching the kids race to get the ball to throw it back. Imagine that happening today? They would be locked up!

How they could remain upright in those trousers was beyond me.

He didn't appreciate being mobbed by shirtless supporters who ran on to "celebrate" with him. Bet that did some damage to the wicket.

It's like something from another century watching the coverage on Look North last night :). No helmets, crowd almost touching the boundary, people running on. I don't believe for a minute that they were genuine fans who just wanted to shake his hand.
