Robin used to drink in my local when I lived in London in the mid-to-late eighties; The Belsize Tavern.

I’ll have to look it up now. Belsize Park gets a mention in one of his songs

Belsize Park? I thought that was in a lyric by Fish/Marillion.

It’s a lot more fun talking about obscure pop singers than politics, isn’t it?

I think it's when you click the top of the BBS on the right and you go back to 2017. Like a mini wayback machine.

I have my 1960s Time Machine every Saturday morning listening to Tony Blackburn’s early morning show. On catch up obviously. 0600 is too early!

Too late, unfortunately. It was badly damaged by a fire back in the late eighties, with the sad loss of life. It eventually reopened, but it is now a gastropub with only one Italian lager on draught.

It used to be the club house for Belsize Park RUFC, who I played for in the day, but they too have moved on.

I have my fix daily with Boom radio I have had nothing but boom on the radio since I found it. 60s 70s some 80s and new releases from oldie singers and groups. Recommended.
