Chesterfield were on a different level to Southend when it came to time wasting

Christ there are some Oxygen thieves on that Chesterfield forum...
"It was just like going back in time fourty years to a Miner's rally. (Please note there is no slight meant to miners,I used to be one)."

"It was meant as an observation as to how they were dressed."

Seems it never occurred to him people were wearing flat caps as an in-joke and he thought we just wore flat caps all the time.. about the measure of the man.

    "Barnsley fans are absolute scum."

"a message board from the 1700's" - no different to theirs from what I can tell?

Get over yourselves there's far more sour grapes coming this way than being sent in theirs... Clearly got their knickers in a twist over a single post regardless of the rest of the thread ridiculing it. Very high and mighty considering that just wanted to come and play dirty to stop our game plan. Nothing wrong with that, we lost because of it not for the first time this season but them trying to act like we have some sort of rivalry is beyond hilarious.

The football under Danny second time around was poor but I can never remember us being a dirty and over physical team. After managing various clubs with over 1000 games under his belt and I have never heard of Danny Wilson's tactics being to hurt the opposition. Maybe Morgan's influence? Maybe a team fighting for its life being a bit OTT? But to suggest Danny Wilson sends his teams out to hurt and foul the opposition is bizzare

Don't want him banned, just to stop posting deliberately inflammatory ***** in an attempt to wind folk up and look important. Ball's in his court.

I don't see it that way. I just see a lad who has opinions. Entrenched maybe, but they're only opinions. Don't think he's got an ounce of malice in him. I don't see why people get so wound up. Rise above it. And get the popcorn in

But without us not being able to rise above it, there'd be no need for popcorn.

I see a lot of malice in his posts. His hatred of certain people shows clearly and the only reason he would, completely at random, bring up those people and post negative comments about them is to wind up people. He can't be sat at home and genuinely think 'you know what hasn't been mentioned for a while, how **** like Steele is'. The only explanation is he sits and thinks 'you know what will get a rise out of people, insulting like steele'.

The 'lad' is, in my opinion full of malice and is just an internet troll deliberately trying to wind people up

he addressed it to chesterfield fans for some strange reason , although it didnt work out for danny second time round , he is still a decent man and manager . lack of respect to a manager who i will ever forget took us to the prem by playing some great football .

Banning Hemsy would remove one of the few pleasures I have. If anything, we should give him drugs and a secretary....

Mark Crossley loves to get his keepers timewasting . Did the same with Turnbull when he was here.

Knowing how much DW is revered by folk on here, it is difficult to interpret that posting as anything other than deliberate baiting.

I am annoyed with myself for taking the bait but I just thought it was an outrageous thing to say. And when its pointed out to him, he is never man enough to admit he was wrong and apologise.

I have no problem with someone not liking another person, but there is no excuse for such a lack of respect, no matter who it is. It just exposes his immaturity.

There's a difference in expressing an opinion and trolling for a reaction.

When he sticks to the point he is an interesting enough guy with good knowledge of young players but when he gets sidetracked into his latest hate campaign or revisits an old one as n this thread it does become spiteful and full of malice and cuts across any valid points he might have. Bit sad really.
