    According to Google Gemini.......

The bird in the image is most likely a Eurasian sparrowhawk (Accipiter nisus). It is a small raptor that is native to Eurasia and Africa. It is a common bird in Europe, and its population is stable. The Eurasian sparrowhawk is a predator that feeds on small birds and mammals.

Here are some of the distinguishing features of the Eurasian sparrowhawk:

    • Short, broad wings
    • Long tail
    • Angled head
    • Upperparts are blue-grey in males and brown in females
    • Underparts are white or barred with chestnut
The Eurasian sparrowhawk is a perch hunter, meaning it will sit on a perch and wait for prey to come by. Once it sees prey, it will swoop down and capture it with its talons.

The winged position suggests it may have caught some prey.

It's one million percent a sparrowhawk that's either caught some prey or sunning itself on your decking. Great pics!

It got onto the decking and kept flying against the glass, like a fly in a window. It eventually launched itself into the patio window with quite a wollop then flew away. I have a video but it won’t post.

It has eyes like a hawk but can’t see glass.
