Absolutely disgusting. Fair play to the driver for being so polite and calm in the circumstances. Hopefully, the police will pay her a visit.
I best take my criminology, sociology degrees, 19 years front line experience, hundreds of prosecutions and arrests (some by way of using my profiling skills) and wipe my arse on them. Racism is caused via socioeconomic and educational failings (mainly at home, family not interested in learning kid follows in footsteps and merely learns from them), extreme politics (both sides) becoming mainstream and accepted and years of negative behaviours accepted as facts and ways to fit in. Add into the mix the myth that white folk are superior and fresh out of the oven is a Tommeh Robinson racist pie!
Time and time again does the pride of man influence his very own fall. While denying it, one gradually starts to believe that he is the authority, or that he possesses great moral dominion over others, yet it is spiritually unwarranted. By that point he loses steam; in result, he falsely begins trying to prove that unwarranted dominion by seizing the role of a condemner.
Don't forget the hyphen in Anglo-Saxon. Since the Angles were Danish/Germanic and the Saxons were German, that's all they have left. Although come to think of it, didn't the hyphen originate in Greece? Hmmm.
As ny wife pointed out...the scary part is she, or someone like her, could be someone's mother or grandma! Imagine leaving your child in her 'care'. Is it any wonder racism and sectarianism perpetuates. The 'Troubles' in N.I. go all the way back to the battle of the Boyne. The Catholic vs Protestant conflicts still perpetuate, due to the prejudices being passed on from generation to generation. The same with racism. NO child is born racist, nor do they negatively discriminate based on skin colour and they will happily play together until some moronic adult 'teaches' them otherwise. Similarly slightly Off topic, , the experience of the law regarding inclusivity of handicapped children e.g. wheelchair bound, into mainstream schools rather than 'hiding them away ' has, from a societal perspective, been positive.Children take sharing a classroom with someone physically 'different' generally take it in their stride and time and again are very supportive. I am sure Jam Drop will confirm this. Nevertheless, sometimes it can on rare occasions be less beneficial to severely handicapped children physically and intellectually impaired as they are more isolated and unable to participate in the normal day to day classwork when they would be better off in an environment with specialist dedicated facilities and staff. The problem was giving parents 100% rights to determine which path to go down even where 'experts' assessed the child would benefit from being with a peer group. I know one case of a child who was so severely physically and intellectually impaired as to be unable to participate in any class activity or lessons and needed 24/7 care but whose parents insisted on placing her in a mainstream Primary rather than Greenacre. This placed an incredible strain on resources and was not considered in the best interests of the child.
Nonsense! I have a pound of lard in front of me and i bet i could teach it French quicker than you could teach him/her English.
