We as fans don't always see the facts though either. The fitness team will monitor the effort and energy, mileage covered etc of every player. They will know their fitness levels as individuals. They will have data from the pre-season testing per player as a reference. This is why they would choose for example Kenny to start and not Mowatt, why Bradders goes for 90 mins and Keiffer for 75 for example. The examples may not be right but this info is what they will also take into account when picking players, what context and making subs.

Our squad is as big as any in the division, we have some quality at this level there. Fitness + application + ability = Results on the given day in executing our game plan. Sometimes one part of the equation wont be up to it against some opponents who may be better on that day.

Ffs we are talking about athletes on around 5 to 8k a week not having the stamina to play 3 x 90 minutes of high pressing football. What is the world coming too. They are all in their early twenties. If they are not up to it God give me strength.

Don’t see any problem at all, having just got relegated promotion is top priority.
Last night we made loads of changes to give other first team squad members a game. But left some first choice players in to edge our bets on winning but if you are serious about winning you don’t leave out your man strikers and goalkeeper for instance.
Remember there is a massive difference in these players being substitutes to the full team and last nights experience.

I'm confident we can cope. More about game management & keeping a regular team, rather than chopping & changing, like we did the back end of last season.

A bit more pace out wide would help & maybe better goalkeeper cover, if it can be found. Hope Walton comes good. Most keepers don't get to be consistent at his age.
