Isn't he making himself fair game by:

    a) attacking the professionalism and personal lives of Individuals in football? At the end of the day, footballers, managers and 99% of everyone else in the industry are simply doing a job to earn a living and support their families?

    b) Lauding it over other fans by belittling their support for the team if they haven't gone to 6000 first team and youth team games this season like he has. As has been said thousands of times, the vast majority of supporters wither can't afford to go to every home and away game, or can't due to work and family commitments.

Been a Football manager isn't a normal thing to do. It's like been a senior member of Parliment. Doesn't matter whats happening at certain time you are expected to come out.

Isn't the phrase. Can't stand the heat, don't go in the kitchen.

And what would you know about that?

If we're sticking with that analogy, you have never made a slice of toast.

When has he said he can't stand the heat?

The seasons over and he's gone on holiday with his family. Just like the majority of other people in football.

Just because in the latest save on Football Manager you finish a season and immediately start another didn't mean it's accurate to real life!

This is a fantastic saying, and it applies here perfectly.

When his personal life and situation directly effects what he is posting on here then it simply has to be brought into the debate doesn't it?

I'm pretty certain that A. That isn't the phrase anyway and B. It doesn't apply in this situation.

I don't think there is anything wrong with him not rating his ability as a manager, as Football is a game of opinions.

Where I start to get angry is when he attacks a bloke's professionalism and work ethic who has obviously works his bollock's off week in work out and done a Chief Exec's job as well has his own for long enough. He deserves a break, and maybe more importantly his family deserve to have some time with a husband/dad that is fairly obviously over worked.

He'll be handling the heat at the moment. It'll be red hot on that beach.
