Hi from an Everton fan in North Wales, I will be setting off approx 1pm with my 2 sons (age 10, 12) , it's their 1st ever away match so we are all looking forward to it. We are staying in a hotel about 2 miles away so no need to travel back tonight. We will be in wetherspoons about 5pm for something to eat so if you see a shiny headed guy with his 2 sons come over and say hello. Then will make our way to the ground afterwards. . . good luck for tonight guys but lets hope the blues win
Hope you have a safe journey, a good stopover and your lads enjoy their experience. Other than the result, of course!
Enjoy the game, hope the lads have a fond memory of their first away day experience, but without the result of course
Safe journey to the game. Hopefully the result will send you home upset though, no offence We have a few Wetherspoons in the town centre. Bramahs will probably be really busy. Silkstone Inn will be quieter as it's about a two minute walk away from Bramahs and you know people prefer the nearest option
3 friends of mine are going, 2 Blunts and a Man United fan. I didn't ask them if they fancied going, they asked me. So for so many Barnsley fans to stay at home is pretty pathetic in comparison. But at the same time I think the club should have charged a tenner, got it packed to the rafters and put on a show for the tv cameras. But £20 it is, and while it's poor that so many have chosen to stay away, I can't fully blame them for doing so at that price.
Cheers for the advice, will definitely get a taxi to the Silkstone inn then, anyone know the best taxi service to use. I have the phone numbers for blueline and Kg
There are two Silkstone Inns in Barnsley so make sure he knows you mean the one in town. The number for Blueline is 01226 244444.
I know people dont do cup games. For me, it's a game involving Barnsley. That's me interested in it. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
