RE: Thats whats worrying me as well I will be cheering the team on Saturday and Tuesday ,as usual, as I was this last Saturday despite it being an atrocious match. However that won't stop me having an opinion on the team and the way its managed ,so far from what I've seen its been very poor stuff. The bloke behind me at the match on Saturday spent 93 minutes abusing every player on the pitch,he looked in his 70's,when we scored he was jumping about like a spring chicken celebrating, thats football
Why are you so worried that In Davey and Kidd we have a well qualified Management team.
Do you have a problem with having a manager actually qualified to do the job? Or would you prefer the Keegan method of coaching. If it was good enough for Shanks it's good enough for me.
Brian Clough did get Forest relegated and he did have the "A" Licence.

I thought Davey (and Kidd) was a well qualified coach, not a well qualified manager. Of course, he could still become a good manager, but the qualifications he's got are not in management and will not necessarily make him a good one.
I disagree, look at other's Wilson,Brain Laws,Robson,Dowie, all good in coach, make the big move to management some good results and everyone is singing praise's the lad was well left Preston not his choice, lets say Preston's loss is our gain.He is highly regarded by Sir Alex Fergusson and his very close friend David Moyes.
You can't say that to him. If he ever works out that Management & Coaching are two different things ... his head will implode. Eckersley - could be a great signing. McCann - looks like a League Two player to me. Lucas - Davey's mate. Mattis - Kidd's mate. Boxofficetastic. The last time our Manager started wandering about signing his mates, from Rochdale, we ended up with a team full of spackers.
RE: You can't say that to him. McCann was acquired before SD took over. He had no part in that transfer or the other three loanees.
RE: You can't say that to him. Why are the board buying players for £100k without the managers input?
They only did that before Davey was caretaker on Wednesday and the deadline was Thursday,so players were neede before the close. Now Davey is manager,he has the final say looks at a player scout's see's then approach the board for £x amount but not stupid auction price's many of them caused by agent's starting bidding war's between club's.
Davey must have agreed to the conditions of the McCann signing surely?
Otherwise we have another Peter Sand styel transfer on the cards.

Not Davey, not Ritchie, not a lot of alternatives left. Only people with the initials GS aided by MW?
