Casting the vote for Lindsay as the neutral who came to match with me saw it.

Went for Cavare. He seemed the most likely to unlock Burton particularly in the first half

    Give it to Steve Croft.

Our defence kept a clean sheet but had very little to do all night. Nobody at all stood out.

Went for cavare solid in defence and like said looked most likely to unlock Burton especially 1st half. Pinnock and Lindsay both had good games too.

Thought Lindsay nicked it from Cavare.

I really wish I knew what it was people saw in Cavare. He's not leaving gaping holes to be countered now which is helpful. But he's not assisting or pulling players out of position. The casual flick near the end when he just couldn't be bothered to kick it properly and it rolled out for a goal kick was shocking.

He's got good technical ability. But his attitude is crap. He's better than he was, but i'd still replace him ahead of any other player on the pitch.

I don't dislike him, he's certainly a character. I just find him lazy and ineffective.

If we have any chance of keeping him next season we need to be in the championship, no doubt about that in my mind.

He's not lazy, he might be ineffective sometimes. He was the other player mentioned by a neutral as possible motm .

Interesting that fiends who are fans of other clubs think he’s the best full back in the division. I’d say the truth is somewhere in the middle a young lad who has missed a lot of games and is still very inexowrudevwloping into an excellent player but still with a tendency to **** up occasinally.

I think he's very noticeable because he appears and is given the ball a lot. I still think he's lazy (in that he doesn't want to do the things he doesn't want to do). If rumours were true about a significant bid in January, I'd be looking to see if that big still stands in January and look for much better,

He flatters to deceive greatly, so I just don't see what others do in him. Being a big lad with reducing end output isn't enough in my view.

Your entitled to your opinion like I am mine but on Tuesday he got very little if and help from the right wing. He was solid defencivly and looked like he could end up creating something going forward. You say he is lazy didn't show Tuesday imo he got up the pitch to attack and back when he needed to defend. I've been critical in the past but I think he has been getting better since he got dropped earlier in the season.
Also you say he isn't assisting he has more assists this season from defence than isgrove had in his whole bfc career.

He has 5 assists and 1 goal. That's decent for a full back. But he gets so much of the ball and completely fritters it, and for the emphasis Stendel puts on the fullbacks, I think that's a bit poor.. I agree he's got better defensively, but I think that's been because of Brown in front of him who has really helped breaking play up and increasing the press on the right, though Tuesday he floated all over. His touch is generally very good. I'm just not a fan. We often seem to have players rated on their cult status. Even M'Voto had plaudits!
