It's got to happen one day.Their fans seem downbeat after letting players go and not signing any body as replacements. It's been noted that we've brought players in and the general feeling is they expect us to win on Saturday. They're clinging to the hope that relegation would bring them a lesser fine for breaking the financial rules.Could there be a better time to beat them and drag them in to the mix.
Was it really 1950 since we last won there.. wow.. well overdue.. hope for a repeat of that 5 nil away win then.. 68 year rule n all that..
Can’t help but get the feeling that visiting Loftus Road is like visiting Hillsbro’ we could go there with the Real Madrid Team disguised in a Barnsley kit and still lose.
The scientifically proven 68 year rule you mean, which incorporates quantum mechanics and string theory? A win is guaranteed. Schrodinger's win.
Yes, used to argue a lot with a mate about those artificial/plastic pitches at the time. He used to reckon they were a great leveller, until we got that one on the old training ground and we hired it a few times. Ouch.
Trips to QPR are totally dog poo lately, not only do we always get beat, but now we can’t get a drink before the game or go to the best tube station after the game, I’ve been the last 11 times we’ve played there and times gone by it used to be the best away day despite the result, now everything about the day is terrible.
Seeing as we've just had a lunar event that hasn't happened in 152 years..... if we can't win this time, we may as well gift them 3 points each year and save on the petrol money! I always go, and we always lose.... I can't make it tomorrow, so combined with the super blue blood moon phenomenon.... we're going to win.... truly... we are .... woohoo woohoo, big dogs, landing on my face......
Shepherd’s Bush is local residents with photo ID, and proof of address only, the last twice I’ve been apart from one pub.
A trip to a pub in Notting hill .Back on the tube to Sheppard s bush.did that last time . unfortunately working.
I'm sure there's a chapter on it in "A Brief History of Time", come to think of it. "How Quantum Mechanics Could Help Barnsley Win At Loftus Road". It was a big part of Stephen Hawking's thesis. It revolves around the impossibility of knowing the true location of certain particles, if we can measure the speed. Apparently it can be used with free kicks to bamboozle the keeper.
The first time I watched Barnsley play QPR in London was in 1962 at the White City Stadium. We lost 2-1 My next visit was 1981. I could only watch the first half as I had an 'interview' to attend. That was the worst 45 minutes I've ever watched. It was on Loftus Road's plastic pitch. When the ball bounced on the turf, it shot back up like a lunar rocket. My last visit was when Steve Davies career was effectively terminated by a broken leg, we lost. I hope that this year I shall witness a win for the Reds, one lives in hope.
Normally works providing you are in plain clothes and you go in 1 by 1..... Just act like WTF, I'm not even interested in football, just come for a beer, working down there or summat like that... they only like to target the footy fans.
