I don't know, selling our established centre halves, our top scorer and long time keeper and replacing them with a bunch of kids with no Championship experience is exactly what I'd be doing too.

From what we're told, it appears Davies, Lindsay and Moore all wanted out. I think we did good business on the money they brought in. It's down to the recruitment. Kids from reserve teams and foreign leagues of significantly lower standards were never going to be enough. The Fulham performance convinced us a minor miracle had occurred but the last few games have been dismal.

I'm not writing anyone off yet. Every one of this side might turn out to be solid professionals at this level. However, they are definitely not right now and I'm unconvinced one season is long enough for them to make the required improvement. We need to hope there are enough poor teams to avoid being cut adrift by Christmas. Then we'll see what this board are made of because if we're serious about this league, the January window genuinely will have to be the best in the club's history.

It was madness to expect our young kids to be as competent as the people they have replaced .
Its going to take a good 15 games for these boys to get into this division.
Meantime....do we still think not getting a decent loan in was good business?
Look at butterfield today never played a bad pass nor gave the ball away....steady away.
