what was your album of 2017?
Mine Noumena- Myrrys
Dizzee Rascal - Raskit.
Micheal head and the red elastic band - adios senor pussycat
The Fall - New facts emerge
Sleaford mods - English Tapas
New stuff by blackwaters, trampoline and yonaka well worthy of a mention
Given that nearly all of my followed are now dead:
Father John Misty: Pure Comedy
I wish my sound buds were tickled like yesteryear. But now I delve backwards in the RYM catalogue to find solace somewhere.
It is not easy.
There's always new stuff coming out and new artists emerging. Just a case of looking in the right places.
Greta van fleet.... From the fires
Shed Seven - Instant Pleasures
We're struggling to survive in this division.
And yet someone asks - what was your favourite record of the last year.
The Cribs - 24/7 Rockstar Sh*t
H. Hawkline - I Romanticize
OSHH - OSHH
Wavves - You're Welcome
Wesley Gonzalez - Excellent Musician
Do you think there's some correlation between the two? **** Nudge, I feel a bit guilty now. Sincere apologies to Barnsley fans everywhere.
I don't think I listened to that many new albums last year, but Martin Carr's "New Shapes of Life" was probably the best of them. It's one of the most beautiful albums that I've ever had the pleasure of listening to.
Every Valley - Public Service Broadcasting.
Modern Kosmology Jane Weaver.
Mogwai was pretty good too.
Broken Social Scene- hug of thunder
Conor oberst - salutations
The National - Sleep well beast
Not listened to any new music over the last couple of years but recently stumbled accross The Reytons
"Slice of lime" gets the old toes tapping.
Guilty is not the appropriate word.
Well Conan you do plough a different musical furrow to me.
I never recovered from being stuck in an underground uni dig having to listen for 2 hours to Trapeze albums.
I thought he was my mate.
Then when another bloke made me listen to just one side of Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music, I surmised that he didn't like me either.
So, friendless (understandably you may say) I've wandered around like Young Nudge.
Many a time I've found a musical home, but because of my age (and the catalogues on the internet) it's been been retro from here.
Great tune ...
I'm glad you've posted - have a look at the video I've posted and translate it please!!
