I hope they avoid a points deduction too. It's going to be tough for them to get people used to going to games regularly again. Some will be watching other clubs like Fylde and others will have fallen out of love with the sport and might not bother trying to get back the passion for it.
I have relatives in Blackpool , and when I was kid I would go over on some of the school holidays and stay there. My cousin Brian would often take me to Bloomfield road with him to the games. So I do have a bit of a soft spot for them.
He cant buy the club as he failed the fit and proper persons test unless he can persuade the da oherwise
Receivers job is to get best price. I believe though the offer in effect would have to be passed by FAbvis there proper person checks
The decision was based on the assets being kept together and the club being a going concern. So if the receivers were faced with multiple offers for separate assets, they have to follow judgement and sell as a pack... in the interests of keeping the club together, not the highest offer necessarily.
Pl played a blinder, took £20 million out in cash during he premier league after borrowing from some random Eastern Europe gangster to get them there. Then refuse to pay him back and the punishment will be on the Blackpool fans. It might be a “victory” for the fans but this Olson guy must be p@ssing himself!!
