The two people with the biggest axe to grind are grinding.

The manager wants a player out as he's more popular than him

Starting to dispare at the sound bites coming from oakwell be it manager or boardroom.

Best defender at the club will not play in defence because the 'manager' is putting none footballing reasons first in my opinion.

If one had to go, manager or player, I'd happily see the underperforming manager leave ahead of the clubs best defender every single time. And there's a few thousand who'd agree with me on that one I think.

But it's my opinion you're wrong with regards to your assessment of Bobby Hassell as a defender.

 

And everyone wonders why crowds are dwindling. Sorry he really can't justify this one. The club do nothing to try and gain the support back and this certainly doesn't help.

In central defence Wiseman does have pace but lacks presence

Foster has a certain presence but lacks pace

Which is why they play for us

Hassell cannot long term either mop up like Wiseman does nor cope with a big un like foster tries to.

Midfield he can anchor in front of the back four quite well. But that's it. And that may not be enough for a home game. Away maybe
