Struggling to find sympathy with a footballer. Its been common knowledge for a few years they were impoverished prior to the implosion towards the end of the season yet they still signed up... Only people i feel sorry for are the tea lady etc who will get **** all from any creditor payout cos they are that far back in the queue.
I'm sure the players can just walk away now they haven't been paid for so long. So really they should just go sign for another club at what level will have them.
Oh yeah if they are happy to wait then that's one way of going. If they left all back money would have to be laid to them in the even the ub is taken over too. Suppose that's why most have left.
Some slight sympathy for reasonable fans - but, as for the club itself, cheats should get what they deserve - nowt!
https://www.bwfc.co.uk/news/2019/ju...ton-joint-administrator-for-bolton-wanderers/ So the players moaning about their car/house payments will be paid in full, but won't play games. Yet the backroom staff it appears are up **** Creek without a paddle.
I feel most sorry for the small companies that supplied Bolton and their backroom staff, club shop workers, caterers, community staff, stewards, etc... They will lose livelihoods & money they can't afford to lose. **** the players that put them there & the owners. I feel a bit sorry for genuine fans, but they weren't complaining when we were relegated & they unfairly stayed up, they were still living the "we're a big club" dream.
Another cancelled friendly...... https://www.bwfc.co.uk/news/2019/july/club-statement-preston-north-end-friendly/ About time the FA liquidated them. If they can't fufil friendlies, they can't be trusted when the proper stuff starts. Even if they start the season the few players they have won't be match fit.
Think the EFL now needs to put the final nail in the coffin of this once great club. When a club only has 5 contracted, senior players(all of which would be able to walk away from their contracts at any time) and no means by which to bolster the playing squad, then the leagues confidence in them fulfilling all 46 league fixtures must be rock bottom(even taking any possible take overs in to consideration). It's time they withdrew their place in the league as it's not right on the other 23 League One clubs and their fans that don't know if they are going to be hosting them(i.e making money) or travelling to play them(spending money on travel/accommodation).
