And see how the ref got on Moore's case last week. Just because he's big and fighting for the ball against defenders who are hanging on to his shirt and holding his arms back on the blind side of the ref....
What on earth has Mahoney done to warrant a start? And what's Moore done to get dropped? I'l be stunned if we win this game.
Be positive Perhaps there’s reason. Not being so predictable or Moore is injured or maybe wants to try our two leading goal scorers up top
He's a striker with 1 goal in his last 6 games. Dunno, haven't seen him on the training ground. I haven't been impressed with what I have seen but that is very little. Jose has seen much more than I have. And if we're going 4-4-2, which looks likely with the selection, our options for the other wing are very slim.
Lets wait until we`re beaten before we crucify Jose, you never know, this could be a master stroke. I may well suffer a stroke while watching but lets see.
Last time Hedges started he was appalling, if Isgrove is injured and he's identified wingers are the way forward it makes sense to give him a crack of the whip, not that I think he will do anything for it. Hedges is always better off the bench anyway if Mahoney is crap.
I like the starting line up. Mills obviously there to steady the ship. Mahoney to attack down the flanks and get the crosses in. Bradshaw is likely to be a much bigger threat now he has another striker at the side of him.
I can only think that today’s tactics are to stay in the game until we can sub mills and Mahoney and change from 4 4 ******* 2. It could be a masterstroke.
But if he'd taken his chance against Bolton we would have been two nill up. He should have put us in the lead at Ipswich too. He heads the ball on to no man's land and scores once every half a dozen games. He's still a lot to prove.
leon wobschall @LeonWobYP 56s56 seconds ago Mahoney playing infield, almost like a 4-1-4-1 for Reds. McBurnie on left #lufc #barnsleyfc
Where would you prefer him to head it? It would take some header to reach mcburnie 30 yards to his left
