that really, REALLY, would be a statement from them wouldn’t it, the board are right on the tipping edge of losing the support of the fan base at the moment- they surely wouldn’t, would they?
In contrast to this, how many times have we been outplayed? At the minute, in my opinion of course, it’s more a case of individual mistakes and poor finishing that’s costing us. This makes me think back to that horrible run under Lee Johnson that turned around into something magical. Now I’m not saying that we’ll suddenly start winning every game like that season but I do believe that if we get rid of the individual errors, we’ll start picking up wins.
Genuine question: I wasn't a regular poster when LJ was here, what was general feeling on board when we were on the awful run under him?
I'm in full Neggy Nora mode, I think with this lot in charge we'll end up weakening the squad in January. The balance sheet will improve though.
The general feeling was that Johnson should be sacked. If anyone suggested we had talented players like Hourihane, Winnall, Scowen, Mawson, Davies & such like, they were labelled Happy Clappers. Also, the commonly used mantra was "No, they're not talented. Look at the League table. The table doesn't lie. FACT".
Every player we ever had in the last 25 years who could earn more money at a better club left. Deal with it.
If you don’t think we have changed our way of dealing with players over the last few years you must have had a long sleep.
That would probley be the straw that broke the camels back for me with these owners, but I wouldn't be surprised either.
I'm preparing myself for that too, sadly. Never felt so negative, despite yesterday's great performance.

Being competitive, especially at home, picking up draws and the occasional win is a long way from being good enough to stop up. Away form so far has been poor and unless we can win with some consistency at home and pick up a few points away, then relegation looks a certainty. A few results and increasing confidence can create momentum but the Championship is so tough that it seems a very tall order...
