    Seems a no brainer this one if we can get it done. Young keeper with experience in league football. Out of contract and if Burton thought he was going there until recently then clearly that means it must be cheap if they can afford it. Even if Davies does stay this is ideal competition for him next season and gives us chance to loan Walton out.

    So the stats say - though that’s as big or bigger than David Watson, and a lot bigger than Clive Baker.

    Smaller than Vito Mannone and David Lucas though.

    Size isn’t everything boys and girls.

    He is reassuringly taller than Nick Townsend that said...

    He looks quite agile. I understand that coaches teach young keepers to push the
    ball away rather than attempting to catch it, because it's not as dangerous, but as I've said
    previously, there are a lot of savvy strikers around in the Championship, that will capitalise on
    any loose ball, so personally, I don't like to see it.

    Fist time finishers like Cauley Woodrow at the plenty that don't take to touch either Donny. Good point.

    Some fantastic reflex saves in there that no keeper would be able to catch, plus most were pushed well out of the danger area. A few in there should have been held onto first time though but that is just something to work on. We are not going to find a young keeper that is perfect, let alone one that is on our budget. I for one would be very happy if we were able to get this deal done.

    Ex Chelsea was released by them last week. Would be a good addition had a good season at Burton last season. When's this happening today?
