Good stuff then! Let's hope we have him in next week, with a left back, left winger and a striker. Exciting times ahead.

I cant imagine which strikers we might be in for.

I can only guess we might sign from abroad and on loan from the Prem.

Our strikers signed from Winnall onwards have all been very well known players with good records and there's a lack of them at the minute. Other than that its been loans such as Fletcher, Toney and Arma.

He's similar to mcgeehan box to box central midfielder likes to drive forward but not great in the tackle for a big lad! Played centrally for them at Wembley and in both playoff legs and was in the team of the playoffs as a central midfielder. Don't know where this winger thing has come from!

so confused aha, is he a winger or a CM?

if he is a CM then surely we dont need him unless PH is planning some crazy new formation.

He's a central midfielder who is very comfortable on the right hand side.

So I would imagine if we were to get him then we most likely would be using him out wide

Parasites the lot of them. Remember when Geoff Boycott was in dispute with Yorkshire Cricket Club in
the late 80's the Suns leading Sports writer the late John Sadler started writing articles in the paper about the issue which seemed to report the matter more accurately than his newspaper rivals.

Around that time I was dealing with a Southern based Company who were looking to increase their business in the
North. Their rep used to come up every month and he based himself at Cedar Court Hotel just off Junction
39 of the M1 south. I was asked a couple of times if I could meet him there during the day and each time I did
sitting in the bar having a pint was John Sadler scribbling away in his notebook. Sitting opposite him on both occasions was Sir Geoffrey.

That's how Mr Nixon will be getting his inside info. He will have several contacts that feed him titbits which he goes ahead
and either writes about or tweets. If he's lucky some of it will come true but half the time it transpires it's rubbish.
As someone on the board has said a lot of journos do their work in the pub and are fond of a noggin.!
It seems for some its an occupational hazard.
