Can’t see that. We had to fetch a full back on at right wing against Wimbledon because we are that short of fit wingers. He’s just starting to settle in to that left wing So moving Thiam from the wing is a none starter for me. I’m guessing if we don’t fetch anyone in by Saturday we’ll be playing Victor upfront alongside Moore and Moncur will be our back up.
I’ll be honest. Bradshaw is an honest toiler, nothing more. I still think we are crying out for a pacy forward to play with Moore and if Stendel can pull a Centre forward version of Dougall out of the hat then we’ll be ok. A quick and dynamic CF is needed and if we get one we’ll be better off imho.
I know what you are saying. We’ll see what happens. He’s on 1 in 4 at moment, which works out at 11.5 goals a season.
This rumour of Bradshaw to Milwall has been rumbling on for a few weeks, I would imagine that the player made it clear he wanted to go weeks ago and the club have told him he can go, on two conditions. 1. We get the money we are asking for. 2. We find a replacement ready to sign for us before he leaves. If the fee being reported is accurate, I would say that that is number 1 chalked off. And as the deal seems to be imminent, I would imagine we will be announcing a signing of our own shortly afterwards.
What about the goal at Bradford when made sure he got in front of the defender by diving in to head home, that’s a natural predator
Yes, that was a great goal but he doesn't do it often enough. A natural predator scores every other match or better. Tom is nowhere near that ratio and, as others have said today, he doesn't seem to gel with Moore. We need a pair who automatically know where the other is most of the time.
Haven't seen anything other than on here that he wants to leave. His attitude last night was top class, never stopped running, didn't look like a player that was on his way out. Everyone seems to be accepting that he is gone, not sure why. If he does want to go then I'd leave it till the last possible moment for the loan window. He may not score as many as we hoped when we signed him, but he is an almost perfect fit for the way we play right now & will be very hard to replace. Although his personal tally is quite low this season, the system & the team have scored 10 goals in 4 matches. Rather have that than a broken system with a '20 goals a season' striker.
