Don’t see the problem with lee jay and not sure why he gets the abuse he does ? Mind you he’s not from “ Tarn” so that probably explains it ! Always respectful and I like the bloke

The respect he got from Pep after the League Cup tie speaks volumes.

I took great delight when Shaun O'Dismal gave us a load of BS and went to Bristol a week later, and he took them down and was sacked there less than a year later. lol
And the Lee J stuff is very similar, although yes he is a very likeable and polite sounding bloke on the outside. Remember he did the same to Oldham when they were in a good position, he did the same to us and I would have bet on him doing the same to Bristol if a bigger club (maybe a Prem club) came in for him. He gives it the old waffle when he joins a club but as we all know these days, thats just manager speak and its not worth the quality of paper his contract is written or printed on!.

You must have been asleep during his two runs of 9 without a win and getting dumped out of the cup by a club now in the Conference North, dropping players for not rotating their heads. Total conman who impressed Cryne with his presentations and psedo-science

Resurgence from what though? He was incredibly close to getting the sack after a record breaking losing streak. It was his own **** he was cleaning up.

After taking over the previous season he went on a run of 1 win from the last 10 games.

Asleep ? Oh aye I was at every one of those games so my opinion is as valid as everyone else’s . Momentum is massive in football and when Lee jay went he left a side on a winning run but don’t let the facts spoil the story !

I didn’t rate him as Barnsley manager but to be fair to him even if they lose all their remaining games they finish winning as many as they’ve lost & in all likelihood 11th at worst which is about where you’d expect them to be with their budget.

On top of that they’ve had a league cup semi-final. Pretty good season.
