    ...like a dick.

Need a new one urgently as I'm away on Saturday.

I'm down to a OnePlus or a Oppo. Anyone have any recommendations on either?

    Last phone was Huawei. Thanks.

I've got an Oppo and it's pretty decent to be honest

As the great Oscar Wilde once said "There is only one thing worse than breaking your mobile phone,,,,and that is not breaking your mobile phone"

I've had Samsung S# since they started, then 4 years ago I got an Oppo, at the time it was their top of the range Reno, with the pop up triangular camera, 2 years later I got the Oppo Find X2 Pro, again their top phone, the cameras are brilliant and the storage huge. I've loved them, as good as the Samsung's and it give all the ilovers a laugh at work cos they think it's some cheap Chinese knock off thing.
I'm out of contract in June so it'll be a close choice then between the latest Oppo Find x5 or the Samsung Ultra S22.
I'd certainly recommend Oppo as a brand tho.

Thanks, I won't touch Apple, Samsung or Sony (so much bloatware when I had a Galaxy). I'm struggling with the top and bottom of the range but think you've cracked it for me.

I bought it just before that news came out. Spyware is also less annoying than bloatware.

Why do you need a new phone when your current contract ends; does it not do calls, photos, text and internet stuff any more?

No, it will automatically die, the day after the contract ends.

I think he also said "There is only one thing worse than finding a worm in your apple & that is finding half a worm.

I've had OnePlus from the beginning and can't knock them, currently have the Nord and husband has the Nord 2. My son has an Oppo that's good too

Favourite take on this was from ‘After Life’
What’s worse than finding a worm in your Apple?
Walking into a lorry park and finding your wife being gang banged by half a dozen truckers.
