Does anyone else think brown is going hence why he didnt play yesterday... Maybe the club or interested club didn't want him getting injured. I might be completely wrong.

I'm undecided... Part of me thinks he could be a very good winger for us

    Me neither.
No matter how much he is praised on here - did anyone at any time during the Forest match think - if only we had Brown on the field ?
    I didn’t.
In fact IMO we looked stronger going forward without him.
PS - same will apply when Mowatt is dropped to the bench i.e. our game will improve.

Depends how much we ended up getting for him. Definitely replaceable but i think the team would miss his athleticism.

When played in their correct positions, Brown and Mowatt are vital members of our team.

Brown's finishing let's him down so why he's been playing up front is beyond me. Up and down the right hand side he is excellent, delivering balls into the box and helping out his full back.

However, whatever the Head Coach decides to do I will support him.

And it’s there. So you doubt our Head Coach’s faith and high rating of a player who not only gives his all in every game and does a lot of the vital ‘scruffy work’ I hope Mowatt stays and look forward to seeing both him and Styles in midfield.

    That’s exactly my view.
Brown thinks of himself as a striker/winger.
    He isn’t.
His best position is as wing back.
He is a better defender than he is a striker.

I don't think him not playing yesterday is an indication he's off. If he was, I don't think he would have been in the squad at all.

I like Brown, despite all his critics, he got a huge number of assists last season. He'd certainly benefit from being played out wide either as a winger or a wide striker. He's got a good low drilled cross on him, and he's not the worst in the air.

He’s the player we have who has the most potential. He would be a big loss.

Brown is up front because of his athleticisim. Our much improved defending starts with the front two, and Chaplin and Brown are our two best pressers up front.
We have to learn not to see Herr Struber's team in the conventional way, where upfront players are only there to score and backs are only there to defend.

After Brown and Mowatt? Who’s next on your hate list?

Id rather see styles next to a more complete championship player, that's when we will really see the the potential he has.

I wouldn't go as far as wing back, but he's certainly not a striker.

    Right hand side of a 4-4-2 or a 4-3-3 I reckon.

I think he's off. No point wasting game time on someone you think won't be sticking around.

Difficult to judge off what the coach has called a pre season friendly. My suspicion is that Frieser will be seen as his replacement but time will tell
