Some people will actually believe the Sun's spin. That's so saddening.
How dare Murdoch spin it so that it looks as if it's a 'boon'
Dacre with his intimate dinners with the Mays in their Downing Street Flat is more dangerous.

From a newspaper that's always supported the far right (read Rothmere's letter to Hitler) and "Hurrah for the Brownshirts!"
Dacre's ' Mail' is still promoting bigotry, hatred and subversion

Just been chatting on this, and had to pull someone up on the fact that he was quoting a tweet from the Sun Newspaper.. A newspaper that in the past he has always accused of peddling lies and stiring up hatred... So I asked why the change of stance.. the reply.... well they have tweeted this rather than printing it in the newspaper so carries more weight. I'd still never read or believe anything they publish in their newspaper though he says.....
My response..... Ok, how can I challenge anything as watertight as that...sigh..

Copy n paste jobs no doubt. Don't believe everything you read in the newspapers.

I don’t. I have been in meetings with relevant players who have been clear about their vision of Brexit. Removal of employment rights and Singapore on Thames.

But as you have seen with the government defeat in the commons, it's not as simple as michael gove or whoever wanting to get shut of some legislation, it would have to be approved by a majority in the commons which I can't see happening.

A cross party vote on returning sovereignty is different from a Tory defending workers rights. They are not exactly known for it. As I said let’s leave it and see how it pans out.

Edit. May has today refused to confirm that the WTD will pass into U.K. law. That happened a little more quickly than expected.

Indeed, the take back control tagline actually means, give the radical right control, thwarted from being too extreme by the EU.

My daughter worked in a pub on a zero hours contract and they tried to systematically bully her into accepting that she "had" to be available to work when they said so, but that even so if it was quiet they could send her home at any time. It took a number of conversations for them to understand that as she wasn't under a contract she was merely letting them know in good time that she wasn't available to work. Now, as it was a temp job and she had no mortgage or kids it was easier to stand up to them, but you can well imagine a situation for many others where that isn't the case.

There's plenty in the Tory party who hold Hong Kong up as the beacon of light on how de-regulation creates a capitalist utopia, conveniently forgetting the huge number living in abject poverty living in "coffin house".

    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/aug/29/hong-kong-coffin-homes-horror-my-week

There's plenty about who'd have no problem with this apparently.

The housing crisis sorted in a heartbeat!! It it wasn’t so close to what the tories would love it would be dangerous

Sounds familiar......”The social housing supply is definitely not enough since the government is not willing to challenge special interests groups, like property developers or foreign investors.”

while we’re slavvering and baying with the tories and their media apologists lies on immigration they are systematically rolling back workers rights ,it’s christmas everyday for the Tories whilst brexit is in the news and no eu legislation to protect us

Yougov is the most bias right wing crap you will ever read, it would be funny if 80% didnt go mad at anything considered otherwise, love posting some ***** they will implode over. But the thought of this shambles of a government still being ahead is not entirely accurate, opinion polls mean nothing nowadays.
