    Just about to get ready to go to Anne's daughter's for Christmas dinner, done a lateral flow test and Anne's is positive (she's been under the weather since thursday). Mine is negative and we were both negative yesterday. Christmas cancelled again....

    We keep doing negative lateral flows. Me, Laura and George. George did a negative test at A and E. His cough was so bad he was sick. Heard that Omicron is just a really bad cold. Can't say for definite but I reckon it's the new common cold.

    We're both boosted so hopefully the symptoms will be mild. Anne's had a cough and sore throat since Thursday but she always gets that every winter so we didn't think anything of it. It was quite a shock when her LFT was positive, we were both negative the day before.

    We’ve all had a cough and a cold for weeks now. Keep getting negative lateral flow tests. I almost wish it was Omicron so we can get it over and done with.

    My sister's husband tested positive on Wednesday, so Christmas cancelled for them. I have taken a LF test this morning as I was hugging my grand daughter on Thursday and then she found out afterwards she had been sat next to a friend at messy church who has now tested positive. Was dreading the test as it would have screwed the day if I was positive but I was lucky this time.

    Hope your day is OK, despite the change of plans.
