Is that meant to be a witty response, if not it is just daft and irresponsible.

I thought there were plans to extend the East Stand car park going right back to the Cryne era. I would thought that with the loss of parking spaces due to the fan zone this would have been even more of a requirement going forward.

They've bought houses near Oakwell and flats in the gateway plaza.

Possibly land preparation for additional car parking. Although it still requires permission, they can clear it and prepare the ground ready if they’ve sought planning advice already from BMBC.

Additional parking from areas that people with vehicles already have difficulty in getting out of. Seems like a good idea:(

Not seen it yet, but have all the grass clippings been removed. If they haven't, then I don't believe it.

About 2 years a strip of land was 'cleared' (about 50ft wide) all the way round the back of the training pitches. Us dog-walkers presumed that maybe an access road was planned: nothing else happened.
There is a significant problem there though and that is the club use some of the land to dump their ****. It was putrid in the summer, black stinking puddles of mulched grass cut from the pitches simply being piled up and up.
Must be a public health issue.

Not a public health issue on private land though is it? I know folk walk their dogs around there, but correct me if I’m wrong, it’s not a public footpath is it? It’s essentially a larger compost area which most large parks have.

I believe it is a footpath that's why they have to leave small gate into main carpark behind ponti for access

I thought that any path went down to Beevor Court and not through the Ponte End car park. Although I agree, the small pedestrian gate always appears to be open down there.

I think we should extend it right back to the John Dennis era, make it bigger.

    Had to do this

It's about 10 foot from where members of the public park their cars on matchdays so yes it's a public health issue. Compost it is not either, just dumped again and again and with all the rain we had this summer great pools of stinking mire with flies to suit.

It is a public footpath which runs onto and through private land, found it on bmbc website. Screenshot_20191016-215443.png

Surprised they haven’t petitioned for the close of the section that runs through the carpark on security grounds. But probably explains why the bottom pedestrian gate is always open
