I wonder how 5,000 Leeds or Sheffield fans would have reacted had they been packing that end yesterday. I’d like to think they would have been respectful as well, but I wonder...
I’m almost certain they would have been respectful. I obviously can’t prove it but a lot of their fans have sent best wishes on social media on the club’s updates. We would have been respectful at their ground and I’m sure they would have at ours, we’re all just people at the end of the day.
I e-mailed Burton’s club secretary and media office yesterday to thank them especially the player (unknown) who raised the alarm
