I tried that. Until recently I used to watch that link (until I got iFollow) However I get a 'SAS GEO' error message telling me that the video is not available in my region Try another video. All my browsers - Firerfox, Google and IE11 have tracking turned off but I also went through t all privacy settings this morning and cleared all caches, cookies, browser history etc. on all the browsers and it still comes back with same error.
How the H*ll are thy tracking my location??

Try this (nicked from another forum).

Could you please confirm if you face the issues even after signing into Chrome browser with your Google account across devices? If yes, then please try the steps below:
    • Make sure you're using an updated version of Chrome.
    • Just to make sure we eliminate malware from the scenario, please follow the steps from this Help Article.
    • Does the issue persist in incognito mode?
      • If this helps then temporarily disable your extensions to identify which one is causing the rendering problem. To do this go to chrome://extensions and uncheck Enabled for each extension one by one.
    • Clearing cache and cookies can be useful.
    • Uncheck Use hardware acceleration (Menu> Settings> Show Advanced Settings > System menu).
    • Disable all the Firewall softwares you have installed / try on different Internet Network Provider.

It's nothing to do with any of that. It's purely down to ip address. That's how websites know your location. The only way to circumnavigate that is to use a vpn.

    Tuffnells do a reasonable rate.
They certainly can't get them on the scales at the post office.

Or just either give up, or subscribe to iFollow.

I stopped using that (VPN ) after many sites (including BBC) started tracing and blocking VPN servers. I now use overplay DNS (yes I know it doesn't encrypt but it is faster and so far I can still get BBC etc) We hardly watch any UK TV except I wanted CH4 for F1 and like to use the UK BBC NEWS website rather than the crappier one that comes up with different content when connecting from outside the UK. It is only recently that SKY website started blocking it. Don't see why they need to block 3 minutes of edited highlights anyway unless the agreement with the FL has changed recently. It is not as if it the match was available over here anyway.

I live partly in Germany, and Sky have not allowed me to view highlights etc there for many years. It's only allowed in the UK and (I think) in Ireland. Unless you use a VPN that they can't trace, you can't watch them.

Anyway, Whitey won't be long before he posts the highlights on YouTube for all to see.

Mate, log into iFollow on the videos & there are two lots of highlights, short & extended. Short ones go up first. There are loads of interviews too.
Any problems I'm happy to talk you through it.

It's due to rights- Sky UK will only have rights to broadcast highlights within UK and Ireland... that's the reason. Other countries will have different agreements. EFL televised in some European countries so not going to take too kindly to UK tv provider offering free highlights.

Yes that's true, and I used to subscribe, but the service just didn't work during live matches, due to buffering etc. It wasn't my connection, as I could watch full match replays with no problem, but live matches were impossible to view. I eventually cancelled my subscription, after a prolonged argument with them.

Doh!! What a total muppet!! (me not you) I am 'new' to iFollow and totally forgot the highlights were on there thinking Sky exclusivity meaning the match video was not streamed live (only commentary) applied to the highlights too!

You made my day!! Thank you for that

That is crap. TBH in the UK I just go for Matt's excellent commentary & then the re runs & interviews. For a fiver a month I think it's good. I'm having a crap time in business at the minute, so Saturdays I'm working mostly. Only made 2 homes & 2 aways. Matt is brilliant. Watched the Sky stuff yesterday. Coverage was OK to be fair, but they blew too much smoke up Moncur's arse. He is not the kind of player that needs that. Hence after 60 minutes I started my thread. Server space is obviously not up to it, although I did stream a game from Turkey, where I was doing a gig.

Mate, no probs. I know we may have locked horns over politics in the past, but we are all Barnsley FC fans & one day you can buy me a pint.
It is a great service for the money in my book. Anyway all the best mate. COYR

I love Matt's commentary and of course none of the issues I've had were his fault. It worked fine on holiday elsewhere (Spain, Austria) but just not at home (near Hamburg). iFollow continued to claim it was my 50Mb (measured) connection that was at fault. Eventually I informed them I wouldn't be renewing and cancelled my direct debit, which they acknowledged. Imagine my surprise later when I discovered they'd reinstated it, without telling me, and taken another year's subscription.
