OK here goes then.....this is an exclusive.... this is what the 'spreadsheet' formula churns out Instead of the phrase rinse and repeat how about using the term the iteration formula of: g(x) = 1 +e^x/10 {x > 0} Graphically it looks like this In layman's terms buy for so much and in x years time same player is worth so much more (relegation/HC sacking/lack of experience players notwithstanding) However where this comes unstuck is where 95% of you do not understand the term iteration formula (neither do I cos I can't use subscripts on here...)
"It's a going to be a steep learning curve." Good. That's great, that's how you want it to be. If we take the norms of time as the x axis and profficiency as the y axis, you've just described learning quickly. Also, curve are shallow or sharp, not steep.
May i ask....does tjis graph and equation represent the 1% improvement/ efficiency in our players under our new head coach? If so thanks....i think we should pin it to the changing room door to remind the players how far they are progressing!!
Can we also stop saying "We move on". When we lose 6-0 or sell our best player for £2.50, there's always someone who says "We move on".
my (old) BFC supporting neighbour always talks about the need for 'a mid-field general' - have we ever had a midfield general? and we're always encouraged to 'get behind them' - anyone know what we're supposed to do when we're actually 'behind them.' Should we win on Saturday we'll be 'over the moon' and it will be the 'icing on the cake' if we're out of the bottom three. Hey-ho - pigs might fly !
