    They can't cancel the game because of rain. It'll do the pitch good if nothing else.

    Of course they can, if their Groundsman declares the ground unfit it would be cancelled, however, this will not happen as most pitches are bone dry & natural watering will do it no harm.

    A few mms of rain will not be a problem. A few inches of rain will probably be a problem. A few metres of rain will be a major problem.

    Hibs friendly , cancelled the game at Easter Road an hour before kick off , but played it 2 miles away on the training pitch

    Yes we never get rain in this country so groundsmen have no idea how to deal with wet grass do they???????

    A bit of mud will do well for the complexion as for the grass they can smoke it or ignore him depending on how you look at it ....
