    The anti Davies stuff is barking mad.

    He’s an ok keeper who had a serious dip in form that was made worse when we had to continue playing him through that dip eroding his confidence and ability.

    Poor management both by a Heckingbottom in not pushing for a more able deputy that you could rely on to replace Davies and the spreadsheet team for not identifying goalkeeper as an area of weakness and securing a replacement/competition

    If Walton was ready he’d have been given a chance by now with the form of Davies & Townsend. He must not be ready.

    I also find it a bit weird that there’s lots of people calling for someone to play when they’ve never seen him play.

    My views not changed on either keeper, neither look championship standard at the minute so whoever’s in goal we might as well support them as there’s no alternative this season.

    Players will look online & read criticism, it’s inevitable. I don’t think lots of posts saying both our keepers are ****, non-league, not up to it etc helps anything at the minute

    No it’s not. I’ve questioned Davies ability at Championship level since April 2017 and have been proved nothing but right.

    George was offered a contract and told he was a squad player who would have to fight for a place.

    He chose not to.

    He was also offered very poor terms, money wise, which is the real reason he left.
    GW was one of my favourite players in the promotion season. He was reliable week in week out & he should've been retained on the decent wage he deserved.

    I thought he was pretty reliable too, could play either full back position. His goal against Peterbough was one of my favourite moments of the season.

    But he was offered a wage in line with a back up full back. He rejected it thinking the grass was greener.

    I'm a little confused here. What is offensive to Warwick about referring to Warwick Davis (a famous person who shares Adam Davies's surname phonetically)?
