In the last 1000 years or so, Barnsley has seen immigrants from France (Norman Conquest), Scandinavia (Vikings), Poland (WWII) and smaller influxes of people from other parts of the country for work or other reasons.

 

Not on a mass scale across the country.

Everytime I visit Barnsley I see nothing but foreigners about town. Feckin English everywhere.

 

Those would be natives, you'd be the furriner or as we say, sassenach (well, those that came down from Scotland for pits jobs in the mid to late 20th century).

 

From memory there is very little difference in terms of the number of perpetrators being white or Asian.

The glaring difference is the style of grooming, white males tend to groom in isolation this being Facebook style stalking that hits the news due to the vigilante tactics of Stimson hunter et al.

Asian males tend to groom 'on the street' eg meeting in public places.

Unfortunately the recent child exploitation scandals in Rotherham are very much tip of the icebergs in both the number of victims and the number actual convictions.

It was an open secret over 10 years ago what was going on in Rotherham. A blind eye was turned to avoid upsetting folk.

Off the top of my head there has been large scale CSE in Rochdale, Derby, Sheffield, keighley,Rotherham, Oxford with a further case ongoing at Chelmsford I think as we speak.

Unless stitts means child marriages then that's a different topic.

 

That'll be because the foreigners are all on the streets looking for kids to groom or pockets to pick, whilst the more intelligent, honest and hard working white natives are all grafting in jobs.

 

Your head would spin in Liverpool then- larger immigrant population yet we voted remain. One bloke was in Barnsley was disgusted the other day because an eastern European spat in the street like it was the worst thing he'd ever seen. It is disgusting but so was the 30 or so locals fighting outside the train station last time I was home or the smack heads or drunks in Peel Square

"Refugees" fighting their way through peaceful countries such as France and setting up make shift camps then risking there lives to get to england aren't coming for the weather more the hand outs and easy life. Alot of eastern Europeans are hard working I work with some. Sadly some aren't we are a island and immigration should be propely controlled not a free for all as it has turned into.
