I don't think it's embarrassing. In fact, I think the overall impression is that the vast majority of contributors in this thread are reasonable open-minded people. There's hardly any racist views in the majority of the posts. I think it's clear what our overwhelming opinion is about the racist nature of the odd post in this thread.

Why do you feel the need to do this at all? What was the point of the post in the first place if not to wind people up and engender some sort of anti-foreigner feeling? I suggest you go into the town centre and talk to some of those people who you are complaining about. Ask them about their life histories. Ask them why they ended up in Barnsley. Do you any idea whatsoever why they have made their journey? No you don't unlesss you ask them. Ask them if they are here to scrounge or here to work. Tell them to 'fook off' if you wish. Tell them they are likely to be rapists and thieves if you wish. The bottom line is that you shouldnt judge individuals when you dont know anything about them. It seems to me that if you did have the guts to confront people in town you would tell them to 'fook off' and tell them they are rapists and thieves because you have read some 'facts' about nasty foreigners. Then what would happen if you insulted them is that they would shout at you, insult you (in their disgraceful foreign tongue), and maybe assault you and then you would be even more disgusted because foreigners had insulted and assaulted you. Hatred breeds hatred and contempt breeds contempt. You sow your own seeds if you don't respect people in my opinion.

The figures for "white other" are 0.6% in 2001 to 1.8% in 2011, that's a rise of 200% but that's a huge underestimate.

Even at a conservative estimate you must be looking at least 5% of the population, a 733% rise.

Next time you're in Barnsley, you should think about enrolling on a course in one of the UK's fastest growing education centres. It might also demonstrate to you one of the major reasons these people come to our fair town.
