Celtic can't seem to compete in any European game without getting reprimanded for something. The latest: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40671971 & http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40674198 Surprised they haven't been banned yet.
Well of all the explicit and not so explicit messages conveyed via various banners and songs in recent years, a depiction of what looks like an IRA soldier is probably as sectarian as it gets, so punnishment should be expected. Not quite sure what was to be gained from it to be honest.
Not sure Celtic can try and take the moral high ground over Rangers, they're both as bad as each other.
Agree with you there, but at least celtic as a football club condemned the minority of their supporters for the banner. At linfield they was sectarian chanting bottles and coins thrown at players, rasict chants towards Scott sincair and an attempted pitch invasion. No place in football.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40687412 2 game ban for the "Green Brigade" and their desperate attempts to copy European fans. Bless them.
