'Our lass' is from Denby Dale and all the 'Dalers' called people from Barnsley 'Codheads'! Has anybody any idea why?

    Haddock?......

They did the Harry the Haddock inflatables when they went to Wimbledon in 1989. But methinks quite a few folk from Barnsley used to refer to Grimsby supporters as 'Codheads' down the years? Buggar knows why Denby Dalers call people from barnsley it though? Maybe it's because the mobile fishmongers in the area emanated from our part of the world?

My mum used to do it like that, then use some cornflour to thicken the milk and make parsley sauce

Interesting - might have to give that a try.

I make a fish curry (usually with salmon and tiger prawns) using cocunut milk
