Did a corporate thingy at the Etihad a few seasons ago and spent some time with him, a genuine down to earth guy, a true gent and a story for every occasion, RIP Colin.

A great player and a very nice man, by all accounts. 74 seems young.

What a player, "The King" to City fans. Saw him play a couple of times at St.James. Mike Summerbee called it right when he said he was City's best player ever. That's some accolade when you look at the current squad. RIP and God bless you Lad.

One of my childhood heroes. Nicknamed Nijinsky - after the speedy horse, not the ballet dancer. Sad news.

Of a time when you could genuinely admire a top First Division side, not be totally oblivious to them like now.

A City team glittering with proper stars, with Colin Bell being one of the brightest.

    Another gone too soon.

Wasn't there a campaign to name one of the stands after him - The Colin Bell End? Or is that folklore
