Can i ask. Pen incident, DK beats defender 10yard out clear goal scoring opp. Y is the defender not red carded? Its a clear red
He just got a bit too super over-excited about his first hat trick in English sarrcker.! Possibly his first professional hat trick for all I know..?
I know we were all nervous after they scored but they never actually looked like making it 2-2 did they? And did the team panic? I thought we just had to work harder because they came at us but we kept our cool. No stupid free kicks given away or anything.
Maybe but it does my head in. I think it mads or helik got red carded at reading 45 yard from goal for a colision. How is that more of a goal scoring opp than DKs one today. Fecks me off.
Oh I know. Ref was lenient today. Luton should have had 2 yellows first half for deliberate fouls, but other than that I think best one we have had in a while.
double jepody I think, if the player is making a genuine attempt for the ball it’s a pen and yellow. It’s only a red if no legitimate attempt to play the ball was made The above interpretation is of course up to the incompetent man or woman chosen to officiate
I don't want to go all Red Rain, but why did Anderson and Sibbick change around 2nd half? I thought it exposed Mads a bit.
Very welcome three points. They simply couldn't cope with Daryl. I also thought that was a cracking performance from Cauley Woodrow. Typical Barnsley performance from an historical point of view! Had Dike actually put us 3-0 up, and we'd have thoroughly deserved it, it'd have been the perfect end to the perfect away day. There's no negative aspect to today as far as I'm concerned. We've won away from home, AGAIN. We gained three points on Swansea, Cardiff & Brentford (due to the Bees not playing ), two points on Middlesbrough & Watford and neither Reading nor Bournemouth were able to gain any ground on us. I'm going to enjoy today's victory, before concentrating on the Middlesbrough match. Unsurprisingly, I've gone with Daryl Dike as my MOTM.
Sorry. It just annoyed me a bit. We've been very professional in everything we've done this season, both on and off the pitch. I didn't think that incident was and because that was a break from the norm it jarred more than it should have done. In every other respect we were excellent today as we have been for months, as the club have been throughout the Covid crisis. Everyone throughout the club deserves any success that's coming to them and I don't want them to be denied that by us doing something daft. Apologies for being grumpy.
I think you're right about him being on side, but not convinced the line you've added is parallel to the penalty box. No wonder VAR takes ages.
It is. I can show my working but every time I do people misinterpret it! The pitch lines are extended and where they meet is where all parallel lines will meet for that perspective.
Ah, fair enough. My art/graphics skills were never up to much, and after a Bank Holiday Monday win, my eyesight probably isn't at it's best either. Thanks for the explanation.
