Although both decent goalies mate. I'm in the Collins camp. Hope he cements his place if shows up well.
Think that Radlinger is getting better as the season goes on. He's only let in more than one goal once in his last five games and apart from the goals he concedes in his own six yard box, he's done alright. It wasn't his fault for example the Huddersfield goal that stopped him getting another clean sheet so soon after Swansea.
I like Collins only a young lad at 22 (80 app under his belt) and think if he continues to develop he'll play premiership football one day. Did very well at Burton Albion on loan last season.
No I dont think Radlinger is better than Davies was last season Collins possibly but not seeing enough of him to be sure
No they are not. The main factor is that Davies was the better communicator. Anderson has cost us three goals (and numerous near misses) in home games through ball watching and being drawn out of position. Davies would have been shouting at him constantly with instructions as to the source of danger. Experienced keepers don't just watch the ball, they can see the whole of the pitch and the game. They let defenders know what is going off. Davies was good at this, Collins is better than Radlinger, albeit not great.
You could be right. Davies was awful in the last Championship season however (he was great in the one under Hecky though)
Id say davies is slightly better than both at the moment. But with collins been only 22 id expect/hope that in a few years time he will be a top end championship keeper, something that davies is not.
The Davies who played in the championship that year? Yes he had a stinker. The Davies who we had overall on average throughout his time with us? No. I think Collins may be but Radlinger has been extremely poor sadly and in all honesty if we were not told he is number 1 and a new signing but instead were told he's a young lad coming through our academy alongside jack Walton then most would be saying Walton should be in the bench behind collins
