What's the tune to the song we sing but not the 'Houri, Houri, Hourihane, Hourihane, Hourihane (X2), Conor Hourihane'?

I've no idea why we don't sing 'Here's to you Conor Hourihane Barnsley loves you more than you will know' to the tune of Mrs Robinson. Liverpool fans done the same chant with Jordan Henderson.

Would sound miles better than the repetitive Hourihane we do at the minute

I'm thinking of another tune that shares the same as an advert on tele at the moment. It's not as repetitive as the usual one. Was belting at Forest on Monday.

Every time I see a thread with the words "Conor" or "Hourihane" in the title, I panic and assume he's signed for Bristol City.

I've borrowed an oxygen tank from a friend of mine who's a paramedic, and a mask from a friend of mine who's a flight attendant. The transfer window is a complete nightmare, when we have a great team as we have at the moment.

Do you mean the tune to.... Hou Hou houriane la la la la la or the one that is Hou houri hou houria houria n n n, cos there's another... Houri ha, hou ha, hee haw, ha ha ha, houriane ha ha ha.
The only tune that comes vaguely to mind is Brown girl in the ring, but we wouldn't sing that cos it's deemed as either racist or kinky and you'd get kicked out by Doyle's gang, like the KitKatKubes man.

The tune to "Houri Houri Hourihane" also belongs to a lesser known drinking song which involves everyone asking individuals in turn what they can play, as in:

"What can you play, what can you play" and the answer, mimed manically, is "I can play the piano, piano, piano, I can play the piano, pia piano".

Repeat until you can't think of any more musical instruments. It gets quite funny towards the end with people trying to mime things like the triangle or something exotic that no one has ever heard of.

Sounds familiar to anyone? If not maybe it is one remembered from happy nights in RAF messes, especially in Germany under the influence of Wobbly or Becks.

"I am the music man, I come from far away and I can play" - but I sang it at primary school!

'I am The Music Man' was played at Rooftop Gardens every Friday, Saturday and Monday night in the mid to late 80's.
