    I worship him. Happy to admit that. Led the team during my 2nd favourite season as a Reds fan.

    If we make a statue of him, then I hope its got a todger - cos I'd be all over it.

    He left for Villa, top ten in the league for attendance, grand old stadium, big history - can’t hold that against him. If it were Wednesday or some meh club Forest then maybe there’d be some tarnish

    Spot on. On all counts. He wasn't half the player he became until Adam Hammil came on the scene. and one of the worst offenders of falling down. (After being brushed by a feather) I've ever seen fot tarn. Would I have him back. Yes in a heartbeat. But not the early Connor.

    Hourihane learnt how to make the best of his footballing assets at Barnsley.

    These assets boil down to a sweet left foot. One of the sweetest. They don't grow on trees. Dead ball even better.

    He can't beat a man (like... ever). His natural instinct is to play it backwards (which got him booed off at BFC one time).

    He's no especial vision - which sorts the men out from the boys.

    But you could try and slot him into a PL team. He didn't look out of place.
