Don't know whether I'm that fed up with the mess we are in as a club and reading into this more than I should, but just seen a clip from this on a lads Twitter feed, the link to the full video is below, 3min 30sec for the relevant bit.

Mr Conway is essentially claiming how "they" recruited Conor Hourihane at 21 when he'd had significant experience and been captain (presumably meaning Plymouth). He was 23 going on 24 when he signed for us and left us 11 months before the takeover didn't he? Massaging the truth to win over another set of fans?

As for inspiring the Reverend Preedy to establish the club in the first place, well, New City Capital are rightly given a lot of credit.

    What an absolute ******

We got that team promoted to the English championship. You took us down from it in the first place you stupid *****

Dane says we have too many players. Struber says we have too many players. Paul Conway boasts that we have 45 players. What an absolute out of touch knob

Hourihane was nothing to do with you you lying *******. He wasn't here when you were here.

This man is a dangerous ******* who needs running out of barnsley. I think the time has honestly come that protests against him specifically are needed

Said similar things about their time at Nice, taking credit for things that happened prior to their involvement.

Why let the truth stand in the way of a good story?

It's all about perspectives. One stakeholder group sees it from the angle of getting the best out of players, focus and winning games. The other sees it as a pool of saleable assets with potential for future earnings.

One gives a **** about a foot all club, the other would see it run into the ground as long as his own filthy pockets were being lined you mean?

They also loosely claimed they had built the acadamy there.....which they did not. It was already finished....unless they put some new lino down and some soap in the wash rooms!

Here we have one of the owners of our club stating that his teams play the high press system. In another thread there are contributors to this forum berating our exmanager for playing the high press system.

Only a matter of time before they claim credit for our promotion to the PL.

And at a push they might say they'd been monitoring Glavin for a while before he joined the club.

No he said that WE had a player named Connor Hourihane. No YOU didn't Paul.

He didn't have Connor Hourihane any more than I've shagged Angelina jolie

At Barnsley exactly, he’s using the Royal we as in Barnsley, the same as he earlier said us when referring g to OGC.
He didn’t claim the investors brought him he’s saying Barnsley, you have to take into context the fact he was explaining how data works.

Don’t get me wrong there is an element of poetic licensing in the interview.
