I don't agree. Labour failed to convince the electorate that they could be trusted with the economy and immigration and that's what cost them the election. A sharp jump to the left won't help them and even senior members of the Labour party can see this.
That was quite myopic of her when you think about it but as she said she just did not envisage the outcome she got.
Yep they may have to start working at being MP's for a change instead of swanning off as celebrities.imo
What the SNP did on a left ticket will be repeated by Proper Labour down here...You really have no idea what a nasty set of c*nts you helped to unleash last May.
I can't remember who said it but I think they were completely right when they said 'Labour are too far to the right to win in Scotland and too far to the left to win in England' after their election defeat.
Hahahahaha. And the funny thing is this is what leftists actually believe. They honestly think that the country is going to go along with their socialist nonsense. They think it's somehow nasty of us not to give scroungers a free ride. I can't wait for Gideon to cut benefits some more. It will be brilliant.
Whatever your politics that's a pretty horrible attitude to have. And they say socialism is the politics of envy.
That's all right, you can be happy supporting scroungers if you like. Luckily the rest of us who didn't vote for the loonies now get to see something done about it.
Are you happy with the levels of benefits paid to big business via tax credits for staff and corporation tax avoidance and evasion which whilst ever it isn't fought is in effect a benefit?
I've worked all my life and would never vote labour as they help out the scroungers who don't/won't work too much but would never vote toys either as they look after the rich. My vote wouldn't be worth a want where I live anyway as labour will always win.
Waging war to destabalise oil rich nations on behalf of American corporations isn't one of them and that is what all the conflicts we have been involved in lately have been about. What you are quoting is an answer he gave to one of his fellow contenders who tried to put him on the spot, he gave a quick reply which I took to mean that there would be circumstances but he didn't agree with the ones we are waging at the moment and I agree with that, after all everything since Iraq has been a raging success, not. Like I said the question was more worrying than the answer. I am more worried about the mess that neo-liberal economics is making of this world including the current conflicts, than a hypothetical question designed to embarrass him made by a supporter of the war mongering Blair.
Yeah I've known people work most of their lives too in mining industry and when they are disabled by disease or injury are made sure they don't get homeless or starve by people within the labour party against opposition from people of your thinking. If you don't vote you don't get a say so bye
