I'd rather wear a Sheffield Wednesday shirt around Tarn than vote Conservative.
    NEVER ever, ever.
I have a social conscience, those who haven't vote Conservative.

The saddest thing about politics is tbe constant lying. Those who do it should be ashamed of themselves.

Unfortunately there are significant numbers of people believe what they read (ie the editorial slant) in this disgusting excuse for a newspaper (same goes for the Express and Sun).

Make a statement today about the future, not just of Britain but the whole world and VOTE GREEN.

Sorry about that mate but the finances are such that the party has to carefully pick the seats it stands in.

Wouldn't it be nice if all the major parties were given the same budget from central government for each seat they contested, rather than rich backers or unions trying to buy success.

That would be nice but I think it would enable all sorts of crackpot parties to pop up and field candidates. How would you judge who are serious? Obviously Screaming Lord Such and his Monster Raving Loonie Party wouldn't get funding, but what about the Yorkshire Party for example? I suppose there could be a commission to decide it, but who would be on it?
