But he said we would struggle before the season started and we needed a complete clear out of players.
I'm not saying he's right, just saying it's a bit childish and hypocritical to bump it. If we don't go up and this gets bumped, people will go nuts.
Can’t disagree with that mate, from a personal point of view it’s just a bit of gentle ribbing, definitely no offence intended
We're in a false position. We're just keeping the place warm for Portsmouth when they find their feet again. And you can forget about next season,, it'll be back to square one
Sad to see some people don’t believe we’ll be capable of achieving automatic promotion and still going on the negative, we’ve been playing some good stuff recently and on our day can easily beat anybody in the league so why can’t we?
He's dogmatic, that's why he gets some stick. Plenty of have others said they've been happy to be proven wrong about players and the team.
I think even Conan would have to concede the worst case scenario is now In “May we could lose in the Playoffs” Even if the wheels come off it’s hard to see us finishing worse than 5th.
Can we please stop resurrecting this? Me and Conan do not see eye to eye, but bringing this back up to serve no other purpose of having a dig is pathetic.
If we don't get promoted it's no different to finishing eighth. The end result is the same. Now, I am not saying we won't get promoted, but if we don't and I decide to act the snidey lovely person and bump this thread - what would the reaction be? You'd be all over it for a start.
You're very welcome to bump this if we don't go up. It's a free country, and your prediction will have been correct. You can have a celebratory beer for the failure of the football team you support
Wouldn't be bothered if I'm honest, I'm not convinced we will get promoted if we do we do if we don't, I have enjoyed the season the football been good far better than a big hoof to Bradshaw and it coming straight back, we have been unlucky with injurys with moore and dougall, and we sold Potts when we shouldn't have really. We're on course to finish on the highest points total for as long as I can remember, we have kept the most clean sheets in the football league so there would still be alot of positives to build on.
Obviously I want us to get promoted but I'm not going start slagging the players off and screaming sack the board and stendel if we don't. It took Sheffield United 6 seasons to get out of this league on a much bigger budget than ours. Like I said alot of positives regardless 540 minutes without conceding, unbeaten at home in a full year and counting, playing some of the best football I've seen in a long time.
