Gloucs doing really well. Can't see us winning which is annoying cos we've had almost a full day's play despite the weather!

Not winning that game is the most Yorkshire thing ever.

    Disgraceful from our team!.
The fact that they look more likely to win it right now, instead of us (after needing 500 this morning)... well that sums up the last few seasons.

It's still a very good track and this Kookaburra ball doesn't do much at all after the first few overs. They've all bowled steadily/creditably enough but taking 20 wickets is always going to be difficult under such conditions for this Yorkshire side as there's nobody with real express pace nor anyone able to get significant turn.

Moriarty over 240 balls for his 1 wicket isn't good enough. The Real Spin Shady Dom Bess should be given a chance next game.

    Terrible captaincy from Masood.

Terrible effort when you field a load of internationals and still can’t win a game.

To be fair the internationals are batters and batting hasn't been the problem.

Touch wood, I've been pleased with Adam Lyth so far in the few games, some good batting from him.
I wonder what our chances are in the One day games this season.

I see that all 9 games across the country have ended in (mostly very high scoring) draws.

I just checked the table. Every team played 2, drawn 2. Yorkshire 2nd with less bonus points than Sussex

Bess is a pie chucker, amazed he's still at the club.

Last I knew, Bess was on loan at Somerset but unlikely to get a game there.
Have we called him back ?

Yeah, it was always a short term emergency loan.

I do find these short term loans that take place (for literally one game in some cases) a bit odd.

It just cheapens the value of a league / tournament in my opinion.

Lost the toss and were playing Bazball until rain came. Thompson in for Fisher. I hope he isn't injured again.

Fisher is 'rested' probably mindful of his injury record.

Yeah it seemed a bit odd that Root bowled more overs ( and took no wickets ) in Gloucestershire’s final innings.
