As regards retweeting the club etc, I'm not sure whether we need to do this. I know from previous charity campaigns that the club gets into a very tricky position, as they are inundated with requests for help, signed shirts, bucket collections etc. They can't be seen to favour one campaign over another, and they can't help everybody.

Since this campaign is about Patrick, who owns the club, it may put the players and club staff in a difficult position. The whole idea would look better if it was by the fans alone, rather than the club appearing to fund raise for their owner. Just a thought, that's all.

And anyway, we're doing OK on our own. If we all keep it going on Farcebook and on here we'll easily raise the required funds.

Are we now aiming for a 9m x 6m flag?

That's pretty much crowd surfer material

Yep, 9m x 6m at a cost of £1036. Brush is organising the flag once the design has been agreed. To be honest I'm not sure where we are on that but the funds for the flag are in place, altho0ugh we need a few more donations to get near the target.

I'm sure Brush will be on here with more info once he gets home from work. It's going to be great!

    9m x 6m - that's more like it.

It needs to be visible from the moon. Or something.

We're getting the £1036 one, the amount has been underwritten by Stahlrost and Lepton-Red as they have very generously offered to cover any shortfall if the donations don't cover it. It looks like we will make it anyway though! (Unless of course you were meaning bigger than that! )

Yes I meant bigger. Tongue in cheek though.

I am happy to share in underwriting the cost if there is a shortfall and will contribute anyway, however I like you don't do paypal. I am happy to pay by credit card or bank transfer to an account.
